It’s Friday, and it’s time for a ‘Flashback Friday’ here on

In our fifth edition we travel back to a very memorable date in our franchise history.

The date was March 17, 1985.
The Greyhounds were on the verge of creating an OHL and CHL record in their final game of the regular season.

Despite falling behind 3-1 in the first period, the Hounds battled back and eventually posted a dramatic 6-5 OT victory over the London Knights on a goal by Chris Brant.
The frantic Memorial Gardens crowd witnessed the challenge accomplished.

They finished that regular season with an overall record of 54-11-1, good for 109 points under the guidance of GM Sam McMaster and Head Coach Terry Crisp.
