FEATURE; ‘Hounds at Home’ featuring #12 Tye Kartye

Every Tuesday we will hear from a member of the current roster of the Greyhounds in our ‘Hounds at Home’ feature.
We’ll see how they are preparing in this unusual off-season, while having them send a message to you the viewer here on

In edition #2 we hear from Kingston, ON native – #12 Tye Kartye.

‘COVID-19 has impacted all of our lives and I hope everyone is staying safe.

To keep myself busy preparing for the upcoming season while ‘staying at home’ I have spent my time training a few different ways.
I have been stretching, roller-blading and shooting for fun to keep myself busy.

With the reduction of some of our community restrictions when the weather is nice I am able to meet with a few guys and our trainer at the track for workouts.

Equally important is spending time at activities I enjoy like boating, waterskiing and paddle-boarding.

I’m looking forward to returning to the Soo and seeing everyone again, our team will be stronger because of this, and together we can beat COVID.’
