The Soo Greyhounds are rich in history, and rich in a winning tradition.

Since joining the Ontario Hockey League for the 1972-73 Ontario Hockey League season the club has rasied many banners to the rafters of the GFL Memorial Gardens (present) and Memorial Gardens (past).
In all The Program has 14 division titles, 3 playoff championships and a Memorial Cup victory as part of it’s history.

Three seasons ago (2017-18), along with stringing together a 23-game winning streak, the team re-wrote the team’s history book with a franchise best 55 wins and 116 points.
They finished 1st overall in the Ontario Hockey League while claiming a division crown for the 4th time in the last six year’s.
