The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club (OHL) and Sovereign Communications are excited to announce the extension of their existing radio partnership.
Earlier today both organizations confirmed that Rock 101 radio (101.3FM) will remain the exclusive radio outlet for all 68 regular season, and playoff games for Soo Greyhounds Hockey in a deal extends through the 2014/2015 Ontario Hockey League season.
Sovereign Communications locally owns 5 other station’s including 99.5 YES FM, Country 105, Oldies 93.9, ESPN 1400 and WSOO 1230.
Bill Gleich, President of Sovereign Communications, Rock 101’s parent company, said: “Our first three years with the Greyhound Hockey organization has been absolutely terrific.
