Hounds high on Hookey

Soo Greyhounds General Manager announced today another commitment from the 2020 draft class to a standard player agreement and education package.

Ninth-round selection Landen Hookey is the latest commitment to the Program.

“Landen has put a lot of time and focus into his game and significantly developed since we selected him in the 2020 Priority Selection. With his skating, skill and on ice acuity along with his physical size, we think Landen is scratching the surface showing how good of a player he can really be” began Raftis.

“He’s the type of player that the puck always seems to find. He’s very clever with the puck and is a dangerous player below the dots. We’re thrilled to have Landen joining our program” he concluded.

While the Sarnia, ON product attended Ridley College (CISAA) last season, he last suited in on-ice action during the 2019-20 season for the Lambton Jr. Sting U16 AAA.
