Greyhounds receive commitment from Carlisle

Soo Greyhounds General Manager Kyle Raftis continued to announce signings today, confirming another commitment to the Program in advance of the team’s next pre-season game.

2020 5th Round Selection Caeden Carlisle has now signed a standard player agreement and education package with the club.

“Caeden is a player that arrived at camp on a mission to earn a spot and had a presence every time he hit the ice. He has a very assertive style of play, a strong skating ability, and defends the rush well. His physical presence allows him to disrupt plays – all while having the ability to jump start transition as a defender” explained the Hounds GM.

The 6.01, 175-lb Mississauga, ON product last played during the 2019-20 season for the Mississauga Senators U16 AAA club.
In 33 regular season games played he recorded 3 goals and 11 assists before tallying an addition five points (2g, 3a) in ten post season games.

“I’m really excited to be signing with the Greyhounds and to be apart of this team and live in this city. The staff and players have been very welcoming and have made the transition easy. I can’t wait for the season to start and play in front of all our fans” said Caeden.
