Greyhounds blanked in Barrie

BARRIE, ONT. – After a seven-goal outburst against the Sudbury Wolves on Friday night, the Soo Greyhounds didn’t have much offence left for Saturday night.

The Greyhounds dropped a 5-0 decision at the hands of the Barrie Colts at the Barrie Molson Centre on Saturday night.

Barrie goaltender Mathias Niederberger stopped all 29 shots directed his way by Greyhounds shooters for the shutout.

Zach Hall and Anthony Camara had a goal and an assist each for the Colts in the win. Forward Colin Behenna set up three goals while Steven Beyers, Alex Yuill and Gregg Sutch also scored for the Colts.

Greyhounds netminder Jack Campbell stopped 38 shots in the loss.

The Greyhounds return home to face the Sudbury Wolves on Wednesday night.
