After a strong weekend on the road featuring wins against the London Knights and Guelph Storm, the Greyhounds are back on the road this weekend.
With a winning record in the past 10 games (6-3-1-0) and 8-1-0-0 on the road specifically, the Hounds are currently sitting tied for third place in the Western Conference.
Offensively, the Hounds are led by CHL Player of the Week BOBBY MACINTYRE who has posted 8 goals and 19 assists (27 points) in 16 games played.
The Whitby, ON product is among the Top 5 in the OHL scoring race (tied for 2nd) and has notched points in nine consecutive games.
Further, the overage forward has only been kept off the scoresheet once all season!
Second year rearguard CONOR TIMMINS has already matched his rookie output (13 points) thanks to his 2 goals and 11 assists, and sits second in team scoring.
Meanwhile the team’s specialty teams have been excellent over the last six games specifically, operating at 33.3% on the powerplay (9-for-27) and 89.4% (17-for-19) on the penalty kill.
As the team prepares to finish a two week road swing, we look forward to seeing Hounds fans back in the Essar Centre in the coming weeks.
